Does my baby need to be asleep for these photos? NO! In fact a calm awake baby is my favorite kind of baby to photograph. My best advice, go with the flow. If baby dozes off, great, capture some sleepy shots! If baby wakes up and loves staring at the camera, great, capture those wonder-filled eyes! If baby is screaming because he/she needs to eat…put down the camera and fill up that belly and try again when baby is calm.
